Kevin O'Brien

Kevin O’Brien is the Managing Creative Editor at Milagro Post, but don’t let that title scare you away. He just wanted a raise, we gave him a title, and he went away. Here’s a brief history of Kevin’s career. He started at Kutz Editorial in Detroit working with Dennis Kutzen learning this wonderful business of Advertising.

After a few years Kevin moved to Los Angeles where he was at Inside/Out working with Igor Kovalik. Over the next couple years he worked on national spots for Doritos, Toyota, Bud Light and a few music videos. Kevin then met Adam Liebowitz and helped Adam start up Go Robot in New York were they worked primarily on IBM. It was coast to coast for a while with Kevin, landing some voice overs for a couple of Doritos Superbowl spots and appearing on camera for an Olympic Visa spot, but he decided to get back to his roots and returned to Detroit to raise a family and root for the Lions. (The family is beautiful….the Lions, well….).

Kevin has now been with Milagro Post from their opening day and has lived happily ever after working with the “Big 3” and various non-automotive clients. Kevin has worked with many well know Directors including Dana Christianson, Klaus Obermeyer, Steve Chase, Larry August and many other bicostal talents.

Kevin’s greatest asset (besides the whole editing thing) is developing a strong relationship with every creative he works with. He feels the better the relationship, the more creative concepts can be achieved.
